Lore & Background
The film follows Marta (Paz Vega), a clairvoyant who runs a small shop and consultation using Tarot cards. At the start, she is released from a psychiatric hospital due to PTSD and agoraphobia after being raped by Mario (Alfonso Herrera), an architect she had briefly dated. Flashbacks reveal Marta inherited her ability to see and communicate with ghosts from her mother, who told her that 'No one can see everything.' Despite her gift, Marta could not foresee Mario's dark side. In the present, her friend Monica (Johanna Murillo) helps her settle into a new apartment, but Marta becomes haunted by visions of blood and a ghostly woman. She discovers that Mario was acquitted of rape and is free, and that her neighbor is a murder suspect. Marta installs surveillance cameras and sees Mario outside and the ghost repeatedly. Monica reports that no murder ever occurred in the apartment. Marta is then attacked by Mario, who stabs her with scissors. She realizes her visions were not of a past ghost but warnings of her own imminent future. The film ends with Marta escaping into an elevator, leaving her fate uncertain.
